Post-processor for Autodesk Inventor?

Hi Onefinity,

Do you have a post-processor file for Autodesk Inventor?

I have a 1F Woodworker x50.

Thanks,

Brian

Have you tried this:

  1. Visit the Autodesk Post Processor Library to find a Post Processor with Fusion, HSMWorks, or Inventor CAM.

Yes, I think I did yesterday, and I just looked again. Doesn’t look like there is anything for 1F.

Thanks, tho. – B

Did you look for Buildbotics?

I just searched for Inventor in Buildbotics – no results. Thanks for the idea tho.

So I tried using the Fusion post processor file (.cps) with Inventor, and it seems to work… mostly. I designed a simple part with 2D tool paths only, and I air-cut it first and then a piece of pine. It’s dimensionally accurate. One thing that startled me was when I pushed “play” the dialog that asks you if you turned on the router didn’t come up. I’ve grown fond of that warning – Onefinity: is there a gcode command that will produce the dialog?

Also when done, the router returned to home and not zero.

Thanks!
