Yeah, his setup is full-blown with tool changer & the whole 9 yards. Not sure if he’s on this forum or not. Also Jason Stewart @Stewie21 is using an OpenBuilds Black Box controller. Those seem pretty solid as well, and is a cheaper alternative. That one can be run either from their PC based program or a plug-in interface they just came out with.
A bit off topic but do you happen to know the specs of the X/Y/Z ball screws with respect to pitch, lead, and single vs multi-start? I did not see it in the manual, they only say they are ‘fast travel’. Thank you.
I found this by opening the configuration file I found in the ‘Files’ section here:
X & Y are both 10mm per rev., Z is 4mm per rev.
