It is now 4/14 and I am on redline 1.4.18 and I still have to edit every g-code file I create, or the controller has to be rebooted. Am I missing something? Is this not an issue and I just don’t see the fix?
What CAD/CAM and PP version are you using?
I have been using Fusion for both CAD and CAM for several years. I now have the OF 4th axis Rotary and I need more than wrap functionality, and I can’t afford the full Fusion plugin.
I have been down for a while installing the Masso to Redline upgrade and I am now ready to begin the rotary testing. I am testing DeskProto V8 and it puts the T and M6 commands on the same line. I have not gone back to test a fusion created file but everyone I have also has the T and M6 commands on the same line.
However, This morning I got a response from Lex at DeskProto showing me how to enter the commands in the postprocessor file to put them on separate lines. I just made the changes and it did indeed put them on separate lines. All is well with DeskProto created files.
At this point I am still concerned about my Fusion gcode files having an issue. So back to my original post, am I missing something in Redline? Perhaps there are configuration files in Fusion I can change as well, I don’t know. But, even if there are, why would Redline break eveveryone’s post processors and not address it. If, that is what happened, if that’s what happened. Perhaps it is me not paying enough attention to what is going on.
I am a Fusion user as well, but still using my Masso G3 on my old Woodworker.
From what I have learned the Fusion PP for Redline works and does separate the Txx and M06 onto separate lines.
Perhaps you need to update your PP?
This is an issue with your post processor not the controller for redline download the post processor from the realtime website it puts Txx and Mxx on separate lines
I can confirm what LFwood has stated. I do not have a Redline controller but am a Fusion user. I just used the RealTimeCNC Fusion PP for a quick file I made and the ATC output was correct.
