Error during update. First time connecting to WiFi (just assembled the machine, and did the standard home, and tighten bolts, wiring clean up etc) and downloaded the update. Software took 45-60 minutes to download, and stay suck on the Software Update for another hour or so. Now the screen is showing a cursor and nothing else. When I press on the screen, the cursor doesn’t even line up where I pressed.
Just got the machine last Wednesday, unpacked on Sunday and assembled main body. Today I just cleaned up the wiring and was prepping the waste board portion of the manual.
Any assistance in this matter would greatly be appreciated. Thank you.
Exact same thing happened to me. My base router is in the same room about 15-20ft line of sight away, Eero 6Pro mesh network with hardwired back channel but my Wi-Fi is supposedly “weak” (I spent a good portion of my life as a network engineer and still have my tools so I can measure network strength. It wasn’t my network.)
I ended up powering down the HMI and restarting the machine. Then I downloaded the update to a USB drive and had it finished in 10 minutes.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they cheated out on the wifi antenna again. At least they support hardwired Ethernet even if most of us don’t have that in our shops.
Keep an eye on the network connection though. It doesn’t always connect when you restart the machine and then you’re trying to figure out why you can’t remote in.
