Suck it dust boot hose size

I am trying to get everything squared away for dust collection on my new foreman. I bought the suck it dust pro. I had originally bought a 4inch hose for dust collection system but found out that the dust boot is for 2.5 inch hose. How do you have dust hose hooked up to suck it dust boot? 2.5 inch? 4 inch? A mixture? I found a file for a 2.5-4 adapter but don’t have 3d printer. Thanks for any input.

I have the Suck it also and I have it hooked up to a 4 inch hose. You can buy a reducer online. I believe I bought mine from Powertech. Mine even using the reducer still picks up 90% of the chips. Happy with my setup.

Using a heat gun (or Torch… Much slower) and PVC fittens you can make any reducer You need.

I’ve made a simple friction fit reducer that works well - just need 2 pieces of 150 x 150 mm of 36mm thickness stock. I used Ash.
I’ll put up the .crv files here if I can work out how to do it.

This is the sketchup model. It’s made in 2 pieces. Will upload the crv files once I’ve tidied them up a bit.
4 inch Attachment.crv (269 KB)
Suckit Dust Boot attachment. .crv (958 KB)

one of the files is double sided. The dimensions give a great friction fit for the socket dust boot port on one side and a 4 inch hose on the other.
