I got he Socket Dust Boot and have seen a few videos on YouTube using an orange vacuum hose which I assume is from the orange store. Has anyone had any luck getting the soft vinyl hose end to fit over the Suckit? both the hose and Suckit seem to be the same diameter. Should I just try and force it?

When I was using a vacuum hose I had to 3d print an adapter to fit the two together. I have since upgraded to a 2" flexible hose going to a dust separator.
The orange hose from the orange store fits right in the suckit dust shoe. At least it does on mine. It slides inside the suckit.
Plumbing store, ask for a Fernco fitting (rubber coupling) looks like a radiator hose for a car with cam clamps.
