You’re issue is covered in the manual. You have a Foreman and the makita router, which uses the taller x50 rails on the Y rails versus the shorter x-35 rails on the journeyman and woodworker. Therefore, you must install 2 pieces of 3/4 mdf stacked on top of each other to reach, especially with short bits like a flattening bit.
