Tool Setter resetting to setter height not project height

Using my tool setter I have chosen tool one and tool two in v-carve pro. I put the end mill in first, home the machine, set the z height with the probe, then run the program. Masso tells me to change the bit, I put the second bit in, press the green button, it goes over to the tool setter and probes the tool. It then goes to do the cut and plunges to the tool setter height (I was using a 30 degree v-bit so it went right down.

What am I doing wrong?

Also when I go into tools it has a z offset for tools 1-4, should it?

As a start, I would check the tool path. Sometimes with bits if the space between vectors defining the path are far apart and you don’t have a suitable flat depth set the vbit will plunge until it reaches the vector edges. Check the tool path and inspect your gcode z movements greater than you expect.
