Trouble with post processors

I have a Gen2 Journeyman. I have always used Vectric VCarve.

Vectric wants to install Onefinity RealTime RTSX as the post-processor. That does not work or seem correct. Does anyone reading this use Vectric and can tell me the correct PP.

My wife’s computer has Elite (Redline) Journeyman as the PP and it works. But I can find it anywhere.

Help?

Alan

Elite redline is the old v1 post. Realtime rtx is the new v2 post (and what should be used)

Is that v2 as in the second version of the Realtime post for the OF or is that v2 as in the one to use for the latest Gen 2 Elite? Should Gen 1 Realtime Elite machines still use the old PP?

Hi Jim,
Realtime updated their post processors to v2.

V1 was called ‘redline’ in vectric and carveco.
V2 is now relabeled as realtime RTX.

If you are using a realtime motion controller /redline HMI, please update to V2 of the post.

Thanks. Tough to keep track of all of the different V1 & V2s used in the ecosystem.

We are trying to align everything with consistent naming.
Everyone from the start has referred to the redline controller/realtime controller screen as the “redline controller”, when in reality it’s a redline screen and realtime motion controller.
Some users do not get the redline screen.

Hopefully this will clarify things going forward.
