Hey Graham,

can’t tell about UK but got one to Germany. DHL Express took 1 week. Before it arrived, I got an e-Mail from DHL telling me to pay the import VAT to their account, and after I had done that, the machine was delivered at my home. DHL Express had done the customs declaration.

Search the forum for which VFD I recommend.

Hey Mitch, I agree with you regarding the Omron MX2 or Hitachi WJ200 VFDs, these are excellent VFDs used in the industry. They are very smart and state-of-the-art and not comparable to the cheap chinese VFD crap. I would also always think of the Invertek Optidrive E-3 since it is produced in the UK (not only this means that it is not produced in China, but I think the UK manufacturers need our support more than ever). If you want a VFD made in the UK, you could buy the Invertek Optidrive E-3. At least one forum member runs one. It supports sensorless vector control.

PS: The Hitachi WJ-C1(-022SFE) supersedes the WJ-200(-022SF). It is downward-compatible to WJ200.
