My vacuum will not auto turn on when a job starts running. I have the power cord from the vacuum plugged into the vacuum spot on the back of the power box and the power cord from the power box going to a separate breaker. Vacuum power is switched to on. Im using a spindel so cant say if the router would work if i had one plugged in there. Any ideas??

Hey Joshua,
you may be interested in this (by the way there is a search function in this forum)
You could try it out and enter M8 into the MDI (M9 to switch it off)
Using the M8 (Flood coolant on) command, however, is a misappropriation, since it is the command to turn workpiece flood coolant on. Usually a dust collection system is turned on when the spindle runs, i.e. by the VFD, or by the CNC controller on M3 (Spindle control).

As I found out just a few days ago you have to edit your post processor to include the M8 code to have dust collection come on when you run a program.
