What do you do with Old Z slider?

Just upgraded my Z Slider 65mm with a 80mm Z 20 heavy duty slider, what should I do with the old one?

You can try and sell it on the “For Sale” section of the forum.

I would keep it. As 1F comes up with upgrades they often take the old parts back in exchange for a discount price. I sold my display a long time ago when I upgraded to a 21" monitor. If I was to upgrade to the Elite one of the items 1F wanted in return was my old display.

Hey John,

attach it to the back of the X carriage to have a CNC with two milling motors (works not with X-50 “stiffy” 3rd rail).

Hey John,

I have seen Z sliders with multiple milling motors in the furniture industry. You can very quickly use different bits in one pass, without the delay of a tool change.
