Installed a new z20 slider and all it will do when you try to move the z axis is make a grinding or binding sound, any suggestions ?
Loosen the motor coupling. If you can easily move the z-axis up and down by hand without interference from the motor, the problem is likely related to the motor or wiring. If you can’t move the slider by hand, with coupling loosened, you’ll need to dig into a mechanical issue.
