X-Axis Error When Initiating New Job

Having a persistent issue and hoping others have had / resolved the same.

Using a Elite Foreman. Have been cutting problem free for over a year now. However, in the past few weeks, if I turn machine on to initiate a job, do all normal steup (homing, touch probe, etc) all seems well until the cut begins. Then, within the first 5 min of cutting, the machine will throw an X-axis error sometime with a short uncommanded movement off of toolpath before emergency stop.

If the stop is cleared, machine re-homed as required and the cut initiated again - it will continue problem free.

This error only happens on the days’ initial cut and does not repeat itself.

In the unlikely event there was some binding, I checked fasteners, cleaned and re-lubed all ball screws and blew all dust out of machine parts with compressed air.

Anyone have similar experience?

Thanks,
Sam
