Good day everyone!
I recently upgraded to the 80mm spindle mount and installed the PWN CNC router system.
Prior to the install, my Z axis was working perfectly fine.
I did have to switch my Y axis so that my controller was on the opposite side.
I also reversed the motor direction for the Y axis to accommodate the change in set up.
Now, whenever I home my machine all homes well but the issue is when I go to set my Z height to run a job.
I move it down and it only moves 65-67mm and then it stops. Controller software on my screen has shown a “Z height soft limit error” but I didn’t change anything in the software when I installed everything.
Can someone advise if maybe I changed something by mistake?
Jeremiah,
When you upgraded to the Z-20 (80mm) spindle, you should have changed the software to account for the new length of travel and new, more aggressive thread pitch. search for the settings for the Z-20 spindle here in the forum or you will continue to have problems.

Hey Jeremiah, hey Jim,
this can be set in ADMIN → General Settings → Configuration in the Controller.

Hey Jeremiah,
when you home Z, does it reach home (upmost position)?
If so, if you then enter G21 G0 Z-133 into the command entry field of the manual data interface (MDI) (with no bit inserted!), what happens?

The solution was to reset the configuration. I read through the solution from 1F and that fixed the issue!
thank you all for your help!
