This is the “Sea-Dinger”, a clock that chimes ship’s time (bells). The whole case, including bevels and tenons, was cut out on the CNC faster and with more precision than I could ever do it with hand tools. The exception is the bell gantry, which was steam-bent. The clock is powered by one of those neat little Arduino computers. I started my programming career on an IBM mainframe the size of a Buick; the Arduino is the size of a credit card and has more power.

I would love to make this, but my wife would kill me!
