With the ability to upgrade/add water cooled Spindles and Lasers becoming more and more of a thing, I think it would be great for OF to design and offer wider Drag Chains. I don’t have a water cooled spindle (mine’s air cooled), but I’ve recently purchased and am now using a JTech Laser on my OF CNC and just with the added Laser stuff in the Drag Chain, it’s REALLY tight! The Drag Chain is so tight that it occasionally pinches my air line for the air assist for the laser. It would be great to have an Extra Wide/Large Drag Chain as an option to purchase from OF for our machines.

I just finished doing the Redline upgrade and ended up tie-wrapping the water lines and air hose to the outside of the drag chain. It’s not ideal, but it works.
While I haven’t pulled the trigger on the upgrade yet, I did watch the installation video and noticed how tight the wires are already in the drag chain. When I first bought my Original Journeyman drag chains were not an option at all from OF so I added my own. If I do upgrade, I will use my current drag chains and just put their wires into it. I have a very robust drag chain setup with enough room for spindle cable and waterlines as well as the laser air and power and still have enough room if I needed to add more. I have steel brackets not printed and aluminum channel for support. I think that Onefinity could offer a larger drag chain as an option for those that need it. Not everyone would want/need that. The more people that ask for it the better chance of getting it. Onefinity has a good record of giving the masses what they ask for. Well Done Onfinity!
