My controller keeps switching the units on the main screen to mm even though it is set to imperial in the config menu.

are you using a mm post processor? WHen is it switching? Can you catch it switching on video and post it up there?

Mine does it occasionally on bootup but all you have to do is hit the the MM/ Inch button on top left of homescreen and it swaps back.

The setting in the CONFIG menu is for the bootup units only. Running programs with G20 and G21 will change the current units to either inches (G20) or mm (G21).

No I am not. I have shut off the controller and rebooted it 10 times in a row. It was 50?50 MM/in. Not program was loaded. Just selecting shutdown on the HMI and restarting it.

I am aware that I can change it. My point is I should not have to.

It is not booting up in the correct units. I shutdown and restarted the HMI 10 times. It was 50/50 mm/in.

If it changed units on boot up and you home the machine does it travel at the same speed? With the Masso controller base units are mm but it converts so you don’t home your machine at 1000 inches per minute instead of 1000 mm per minute as an example
