Create macro question

Hi, I’m attempting to create a warm up macro for my Redline spindle using the BB controller.

I go to the macro tab, enter the current g code found in the spindle manual, hit save, then confirm save.

I exit that tab and hit the warm up macro button. I get a message that the g code is loading. I then hit run and the progress bar starts counting and the timer starts but the spindle doesn’t power up. I’m not sure what’s going on because I had the old warm up file loaded and it worked fine. Ideas on how to proceed?

Why not use the built in warmup “bacon” button?

Does the Buildbotics interface have a warm up (bacon) button similar to the Redline/Realtime CNC software?

Whoops! We read that as redline controller. Our mistake!

Yup, BB controller. It would be nice if you’d invent a bacon button for the BB though!

He’s using BuildBotics controller…not RedLine.

Figured it out. Went to the tool tab in the drop down menu, my minimum rpm for the spindle was set at 6K, set it to 500 and I’m good to go.
