Cutting Boards - Recording the Process

I’ve recently made two posts about making some cutting boards. I posted a picture of the most recent one that I made (maple, padauk, and an inlay of the state of Texas), but thought I might follow up with a quick video or two that I made of the process. I’m not a social media influencer, but I like the idea of showing how things were made since I have learned so much from so many others online through videos. So, if you are interested:

HI Randy - great video! Couple (non-video) suggestions for you – it seems you created a plug for the inlay, but you didn’t use v-carving. I think it would be a lot easier to just to cut out the inlay with a profile path if you are not doing v-carving – Easel has a dead easy inlay creator. Second, get yourself a bowl bit for the that juice groove - the rounded edges make a much better groove. Keep up the great work!

Thank you, Tom! I appreciate the feedback, and I had the same thought about using a bowl bit. Of course, I thought about it a little too late, so next time I’m on it.
