Does spoil board thickness matter with QCW Mount?

I use a Woodworker QCW (secure from above) with two layers of 3/4" MDF for the spoil board. I am getting ready to install the Easy ATC to the QCW and need to understand if this extra thick spoil board will interfere with the ATC/bit setter or should I go with a surface mount? Thanks in advance

I can’t say absolutely that it will work but I don’t see any issues.

Even throwing a additional piece of 3/4" of MDF on top of my existing spoilboard, which is thicker than 3/4" there remain plenty of clearance.
