I love that clear tub do you have a link to it/ I want to get one.
My lathe mentor (89) bought the Laguna B/flux last year and loves it! The only complaint was that the plastic hose outlet didn’t seal completely to the metal body, but taking it off and putting a little sealer under it solved that. And it’s not overly loud.
Concerning the bag - I’ve had numerous collectors and what I do before I put the bag on is, I put hd duct tape at the top of the bag all the way around the bag. Then I fold the top of the bag over (so the duct tape is now between the 2 layers of the bag, then put another line of duct tape almost at the top of the bag sticking down enough so that it holds the lip of the bag down to the bag itself.
Then I add another layer of tape at the very top, so that half goes inside and half outside.
Now you have a VERY sturdy top lip on the bag. The metal strap and tape will seal the bag much better AND the top of the bag will last forever no matter how many times you take it off.
This also makes it much easier to put the metal strap on.
Hint - tape the bag up in place with just a couple of small pieces of duct tape. This will hold it up while you put the strap on

I live in Japan and got it from Amazon Japan, I looked at Amazon US but they did not have it, but here is the link for Japan Amazon.co.jp: Entec PO-24A Transparent Poly Bucket, 3.2 gal (10 L), Main Unit, PO24A : Home & Kitchen
I use a cyclone with transparent bucket from Oneida powered by a large shop vac. That served me well so far, and keeps the cost for filter bags
down, since most chips are caught by the cyclone. However I have to add I am mostly milling hard wood and plastic. If you work with MDF, inside a house - an enclosure with extraction to the outside is a good idea, since it can create a small vacuum in the enclose, so no or less fine dust can escape.
I am looking to upgrade my system for the planer, saw and belt sander, not sure I connect the cnc, but it would give me the option
Laguna, Oneida, Fein. I’m gonna go ahead and be the guy who pulls in the car show in his Hyundai.

I know, it’s 2 micron. Not 0.5. But I’m not filtering out viruses, and the shop it is in has 3 bay doors that are open when I’m in there and is not fully finished or air conditioned. So right now if I walk out there with not a single machine running I am breathing particles that size anyway. The pollen right now is it’s own dust layer.
I’m not trapped in there with the thing so I don’t feel like I’m exposed to any more than I am every time I walk outside.
