Probably the easiest way to flat the tabletop - pour with epoxy.

I have build 6in thick torsion box with 3/4 MDF, however still had a little less then 1/32 bow in middle, so I decided to pour it with epoxy.

Why bother, you are going to put a spoil board on top and flatten it with a flattening bit to make it.perfectly flat to the machine anyway.

It does look gorgeous though.

I was more worry about to put rail mount points to flat surface, work area flatness is a side effect :slight_smile:

It looks awesome. I’ve learned something in my woodworking hobby, when I build something for the shop, I go all out and make it beautiful, even if it will get banged up. I do it because;

  • It’s my shop that God gave me.
  • It teaches me to do quality work.
  • It’s fun to create nice things.
  • If you’re gonna make anything, make it the best.

What better way than to do this than in your shop? You did good and it looks great! Now be blessed!
