Elite Foreman Redline extension cables

My machine is mounted on a tilt top table so I can go from a 7ft x 5 1/2ft footprint in the shop to a 7ft x 2ft that can push up against the wall when I am not using it. That frees up a lot of floor space when I’m working on other projects.

My Journeyman was mounted on the same table before I got the new machine. I used extension wiring provided by Onefinity to route the cables through the torsion box and then the black pipe axle into a cabinet that’s part of the table. The BB controller was mounted in the cabinet and the wires were routed to the controller. The monitor was mounted on top of the cabinet. All the wires were tucked away and out of danger from being yanked. This also let me spin the table 360 degrees if I wanted without wiring issues. The table surface opposite the Onefinity makes a nice big flat assembly or work table.

I’d like to do the same with the Elite Redline machine and move the controller and VFD into the cabinet and the HMI monitor on top. That requires longer cables like they sell for the BB machines. But they don’t make extension cables for the Elite Foreman Redline machine yet.

Support told me they might consider it based on community requests. If enough of us express an interest in extension cables they may produce them.

If you’d be interested in the ability to move your ancillary hardware off the table and would be interested in a set of extension cables that you don’t need to make yourself, reply to this post and we’ll see if there are enough of us to get Onefinity to offer them.

Already in the works!

Great. It’s only been a couple of days since I asked Support about it  That was fast.
