Something a little different with the redline HMI

There has been discussion about extensions of cables for a while now and I was not sure if this idea would work. I have been a fan of the aluminum “Gen one” Masso monitor extension by Mike of Stingray for a while, but I wanted to try something different, and here it is. It works without any cable extensions needed. There is no possible way my redline is ever going to get hit by my machine when homing even if I forget to turn it away, I can also adjust the screen to where I ideally want it rather than the elevation being fixed. I am sure people will want to try their own lifting arms, but I know that this one works. You do need to drill out the holes to 7 /32” to use the redline screws that are already there because they are a little bigger than the usual screws the Vesa 100mm mounts use. It is Very simple.
Here is the link to the arm I used on Amazon. and yes, I mounted it on a post for maximum versatility. At first, I just clamped it onto the table edge to see where I wanted it and to see if the cables would reach. I hope this is helpful to someone.

I have done similar, keeps the screen out of the way when homing and is at a better height to work with.
