Hi folks… Because of how I made my table I can’t drill down to hide the left Y cable. I did find the video on flipping the Y rails. Since I only need the left Y cable extended: Has anyone tried using the 4 foot extension cables to go around the machine. Would this cause a problem/drop/imbalance in the circuit (not an electrician or electronics person) between the Y rail motors. Anyone see a problem with this solution?? Thanks…
I used a 4-footer when I extended my X axis. No problems encountered. Make sure you install the new cable between the controller and the old cable, that’s the only way the connectors will fit.
