Foam tips and suggestions

Hello everyone,

I am working on a project for my grandkids and I thought I would try my hand at cutting some rigid foam that I purchased from Lowe’s. I have a pretty good selection of bits but I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on speeds feeds and types of bits that work best. I am just cutting some simple shapes for now.

Thanks!

Use an o flute bit and go real fast, and id do full depth of cut.

It sort of melts around the bit so you might have to clean it now and again. Acetone is good for this.

Ultimately this is pretty easy to do.
