I have been working around the machine. Not using it. When I try to home it the X axis only will move a little from the center. If I run it to the right side and then home the machine the X axis will go to zero and then give an error. I have set the X to zero but it still does not home. Can anyone help? or at least point the way.

it is most likely the light. shade the sensor. there are plenty of post regarding light faking out the sensors.

Well, it isn’t the light. When I tried to use the probe the Z was right, as was the X but the Y axis moved away from the plate. So it is backwards. I have not changed anything since it worked before.
