Handheld controller like the masso

I have become accustomed to the exacting control of the Masso pendant for when I want to setup work zeros of different projects. I have locator pins used to set up the different but repeating jobs I use my Masso elite journeyman with its Redline spindle for.

Will the game pad controller be as exacting as the pendant? I love the fact you can dial down the steps to as little as thousandths of an inch. I record the zero point of each job (I use the center point a lot) and when I have to repeat a job I just place my fixture on the pins and dial up the zero point I want, click it and bingo, my set up is done and I can get right to work. I do not know if this is possible with the game pad for the redline system. If not, will someone be making or offering a pendant that works with the redline system? Is there one already? Can the Masso pendant be used?

thanks for reading.

For the Realtime controller:
A pendent is in the works (no eta).
You cannot use the masso pendent on the realtime controller.
The joypad is the only jogging peripheral at this time.

I am glad to hear it. Thank you for your response.

It takes a little getting used to but the nice thing about the game pad is that you can still dial down your movements without touching the controller with the pointer finger buttons. I can’t remember offhand but one does speed and one does distance. So until they get the pendant available you should still be able to do what you want with good accuracy with the GamePad. It’ll just be a lot different than using the convenience of a pendant.
