I like the idea of being able to hook up a webcam and watch the machine as it’s carving a job.
Is there a way to hook up the webcam in the shop and be able to watch it from my laptop or computer in the house?

I use a WYSE camera. I have it mounted to my Onefinity and watch it over an APP on my cell phone. I haven’t tried but you should be able to watch it on a tablet too.
Any USB web cam will work. Plug into the controller and you can monitor via the OF web interface.
What’s the OF web interface? Is there a specific IP address to access it once you have the web cam plugged in?
Yes, the IP address assigned to the controller is displayed on the controller’s screen near the top left. With that address, you will be able to access the controller from any device on your local network.
Ok, very cool. I’ll look into this further today. Thanks!
My camera is a WYSE one. I have it mounted on my Onefinity and use a mobile app to view it. You should be able to watch it on a tablet as well, though I haven’t tried.
