How adjust the offset on 4th Axis revolution

Sorry if this was a already covered, but I cant seem to find it in the forms.

  • I own the 1F Journeyman Pro (BB controller on version 1.6.4, unit of measurement is millimeter) running with Vcarve Pro. The blank is secured with 1” screws.

Question: How do you go about increasing the offset along the X axis? Goal is to avoid hitting the screws that are securing the blank in the chuck.

Run your job from centre of work and allow a couple of inches extra on the ends of the blank

Thank you @Ken5. I’ll set the X/Y datum to the center. I’ll update this post if it works.

I would have guessed that would throw off the Y position.

Setting the X/Y datum did not work. It just shifted the router over the 4th axis :face_with_peeking_eye:

I think I see the confusion. I am having the 1F automatically set my XYZ. @Ken5 was mentioning to manually set my Y in the center of the blank. That was not my ultimate goal.

My work around is to create a couple of vectors on both sides of my image. The vectors will be pockets and that will create a stem for my piece.
