How do people source wood these days

I live an hour outside Philly so I stopped by Rockler on the way to Atlantic City and I stocked up on wood. Gotta contain yourself there because I wanted to buy everything in that store

Regarding hardwoods , i have a great selection of tropical hardwoods like Cocobolo, Ziricote, burls, Rosewood, Ebony, in various sizes. Did mailed a 30 lb package of Cocobolo across Canada to an instrument maker.
