You want to have the power cord from the VFD U,V,W going to the spindle and have it shielded. You can purchase shielded wire or use SJ cord and add a outside copper tinned braid that is grounded. This only has to be attached to ground on one side of the wire cable or braided sleeve. That is how I am running mine with no problems. The spindle is rated at 10amps by HuanYang. so you will want to make sure you have at least a dedicated circuit for optimum performance. I set up a 20amp (12ga nmb wire) circuit from the fuse panel to the VFD box but added a 35amp 220v rated on/off switch before it as shown in previous replies. I used 6-20R and 6-20P plugs with 14ga. wire to the vfd which is rated for 15amp.
