I think my time with the Shapeoko 5 pro is over

So after trying to get some spares of Ball screw nuts from Carbide 3d I realized that they are not prepaird to fully support their machines. They do not stock spare parts I will skip the part where they use a 1620 ball screw which is not an off the shelf part.

Been looking again at Onefinity and now the elite series and I have a few questions.

  1. does Onefinity stock replacement parts
  2. What is the Pitch of the ball screw
  3. Wipers on linear bearrings and the ball screws as this design is more in contact with dust.
  4. Is the stiffy included
  5. What is the Max z travel.

What id the lead time these days.

Hi George,
Welcome to the forum.

  1. Yes
  2. depends on the machine and rails. 1616 or 1610
  3. yes, there are wipers on bearings and ballscrews
  4. No, it’s an optional add on
  5. depends on the series and size, but up to 165mm.

Lead times are here:
