A short'ish critique on the just released Onefinity CNC Pro Series Manual

On the Description page
The Onefinity consists of the following,
sometimes optional, components: - Onefinity Journeyman, Woodworker, Machinist;
The Foreman model is left out.

On the Anatomy of the Onefinity page

  1. Only one of the 3 Stepper motors is pointed at
  2. “No Computer Required” Shouldn’t the BuildBiotics be identified as a Non Internet connected Computer?

On the Anatomy of the Z-20 Z-Slider page

  1. Ball Screw Nut points to the Precision, Fast Travel Ball Screws
  2. High Load Linear BearingS only points to One of them
  3. Precision, Fast Travel Ball Screws points to the same piece as the Ball Screw Nut
  4. High Torque NEMA 23 MotorS only points to one motor

On the Specifications and Features page
Please notice the mix of Imperial & Metric measurements
X Axis: 500 inches/min (accel 750 km/min2)
Y Axis: 500 inches/min (accel 750 km/min2)
Z Axis: 200 inches/min (accel 750 km/min2)
Also the diagram below omits the actual dimensions

Both the Journeyman Dimensions & Foreman Dimensions pages are mission the actual measurements pictures.

On the first Assembly Instructions page. Should the Z Gantry be showing places for 3 rails like the Elite Models?

On the Assembly Instructions (Wiring) page

  1. Why isn’t there a M? Lead to the Z Axis ?
  2. Are the Measurements shown in the photo Metric or Imperial?
  3. What does this “* 7” wires connect on the LEFT side of the dis-
play, 8” and 10” models connect on the RIGHT” refer to?

I have yet to see any restrictions on the Height, for any shelf/lid I want to place over the machine. Is this available?

My 10 year old Jet Bandsaw & Thickesser/Planer. Came with both complete Parts Diagrams & Numbers. When will these be available from OneFinitity?

While the pro manual has been out for a few years, thanks for the heads up!
We’ll get to revising that manual to make some improvements you pointed out!

THANKS, I thought that this would have been part of Business As Usual process. I started this, in response to an email from info@onefinitycnc.com , morning NZ Time.
