Incremental upgrade. Can you upgrade a redline spindle from BB to Redline controller? (solved, yes!)

I am exploring the option of upgrading to a Redline spindle with my existing Woodworker Pro as an incremental step toward a full upgrade to the Gen 2 Elite. When I enter the purchase configurator, it asks which controller the spindle will be used with, which is currently the Buildbotics.

Can I easily transition this spindle to the Gen 2 Elite with the Redline controller (when I take that step later this Spring)?

Yes. You would just need to reprogram the VFD from BB to Redline, and get the Redline spindle Comms cable: https://www.onefinitycnc.com/product-page/redline-vfd-spindle-cable-for-redline-controller-replacement
