Has anyone been able to get a smoke extractor. I saw one on Etsy but it is only for a 24watt. Any suggestions or directions to look for something preferably 2.5in diameter hose attachment.
I bought the below one from Amazon. I’ve only used it a handful of times, but it seems to do OK. Also used if for fume evacuation after painting and it did pretty well. LOL
It feels pretty well built and the company seems to stock the replacement filters. Comes with 9 or 10 replacement pre-filters, but of course those are pretty cheap anyway.
I’m still figuring out the best way to keep the hose close to the laser. And if definitely does NOT evacuate all the smoke smell but It doesn’t seem smoky either.

FWIW, your best solution is an enclosure and a two speed bathroom fan exhausting outdoors. Cost would be similar to the other exhaust system quoted above and no filters to keep track of and replace. Also much quieter. Doesn’t having a vacuum draw across a laser trace pose the same fire concerns as leaving an air assist on while stationary?
