Laser venting hose bracket

It would be nice to have a quick way to add or remove a fume venting/filtering hose (2.5in?) to the side of the laser head during laser projects. If you have an enclosure, it’s prob not too difficult to just vent the chamber, but I’m guessing that’s not practical for many of us.

I don’t own one, but this dust boot has an attachment that holds an arm around your laser for a fume extractor hose.

However, they appear to be using a 4 inch hose. However, one of those inline fans made for indoor gardeners is common to 4 inch hose diameters, and are very inexpensive. They have quite low static pressure but can pull smoke pretty well, especially if you point the outlet through a window.

I’ve just been chasing smoke with the 4" exhaust hose. Ordered an 8"/800cfm replacement which should mean just leaving it put.
