Laser bed Alum or Steel?

After reading all the posts for possible clues…I will be ordering a honeycomb laser bed. Any strong opinions on Aluminum or Steel?
and or quality brand?
I realize magnets can be used on steel…leaning that way.
Thanks Bill

On my first ever laser I had an aluminum honeycomb bed which worked fine. My current laser (Roly Lasermatic MK2) came with a steel honeycomb. I like it much better. I find the use of magnets much better.

Steel for magnets alone would be my first choice, but the durability is also important. Not sure what laser you’re using but the 44 and 66w jtechs can have some impact on aluminum.
