I installed the J-Tech 7w laser and it won’t power up. The power supply LED is on but the laser and control module fans do not run and the laser module LEDs are not lit. The reset button does not do anything. I double checked the cable connections and they seem to be correct. Any suggestions?
My controller firmware is version 1.3.1, I see there is an update and I’m looking into updating that but the laser should run with the V 1.3.1 firmware.
I also set the controller Tool to the recommended settings.
You don’t say if the enable LED is on. On mine I have to press the red reset button to enable the LED. Of course you do have the power switch on?
I checked the power cable to the laser module and I have 12 V coming from the power supply. Pressing the red button does nothing, I expected one of the green LEDs to light. Since this a new product I think it is time to contact the Onefinity service department.

I contacted Onefinity and they gave me a link to contact J-tech. J-tech got back to me and admitted that they probably had the voltage jumper in the wrong position. I changed it to the 12v position and everything works. (J-tech documentation shows the jumpers).
