Use the GRBL Laser Post Processor when using the Jtech laser with Fusion 360:
Is this still the preferred postprocessor to use for Fusion with a laser on OG OnefinityCNC?
I tried it over the weekend but the laser power “rpms” 0-1000 don’t seem to work correctly like they do in G-code generated in my Lightburn trial version. With this postprocessor Fusion seems to output negative numbers for rpm.
Anybody use Fusion with a laser and have any expertise to offer?
Thanks!
I just bought the 14W J-Tech laser to attach to my Elite Foreman, and learning all I can about how to use it with Fusion, preferably without needing Lightburn. Were you able to solve your problem @tmuka?
Sorry, I ended up buying Lightburn. I’ve come to find Lightburn is a really great application, I love the node editing and layout tools even more than Adobe Illustrator, and it makes working with and tracing images and vector shapes much easier than Fusion.
After researching yesterday I was leaning toward getting Lightburn as well. I think I’m sold! Thanks
excellent, enjoy!
I also find myself generating 2d designs in Lightburn that I export as svg or dxf for import into Fusion.
