While awaiting my laser accessories to arrive, my Lightburn education continues. I’m working my way up to a large project that will require tiling. I found this video that does a fine job of demonstrating how to do tiling in Lightburn.
I don’t think that I’d attempt this with the BB controller I have now, because Lightburn won’t talk to it, but I’m expecting my new Redline controller when batch 5 ships, sometime in July (fingers crossed). My question is: Would the technique demonstrated in the video, using registration marks, work with my new controller? It appears that to do so, Lightburn on my PC has to be able to talk directly to the controller in order to specify that the current laser position aligns with the target marks. Has anyone actually attempted to tile in Lightburn, using this or any other method? Thanks for your input.
