So, would like like some3D clipart for free or almost free for just about anything you can think of?
I live in a town whose high school mascot is a bulldog. It is near an American Indian Reservation. The kids wanted a particular sign. It included a graphic of a bulldog wearing a war bonnet.
Go to an AI program. I used co-pilot that comes with any windows machine. It uses the ChatGPT engine, which can also be used.
I simply wrote, “create a bas relief of a snarling bulldog, wearing an indian war bonnet” I got this:
Little scary, had a lot of undercuts, so I tweaked it by telling AI what I needed. Then I asked to remove texture, make greyscale and prepare for CNC which enhanced highlights and shadows to prepare it for a depth map. I ended with this.
At this point, you’ll need to convert the image to a depth map. There is few ways to do this, depending on your computer expertise. A free program called Blender can do it. To hard for me. There is also a program that utilizes the Google server. ZoeDepth V3
Not a fan. The one I used was called SculptOK and can be found here SculptOK.com
This has a free demo that gives you 100 credits. You can add 10 credits every day that you check in. They also have a pricing plan to subscribe. It’s very cheap if you make a lot of images. There are numerous videos on how to use it on You Tube. The result is an STL file that you can import.
My next project using this method?
