I got my elite a couple weeks ago and ordered a pendant and now I am trying to wire up the pendant but you need the worlds smallest drill bit for it. I bought a tiny screwdriver set but the screwdriver is so small I can’t grip it and keeps spinning in my hand. The screw is in very deep.
Does anyone have any recommendations for how to get it out? Does the orange estop block snap in and am I able to pull the block out to get a better grip? This isn’t CNC related I know but thanks for your input
Try wrapping the handle of the world’s tiniest screwdriver with something grippy to increase the size of it and let you give a better turn.
Or another trick I’ve used is to grab the little screwdriver with a vice grip or pliers with one hand, and press the screwdriver into the screw real tight with the other and then try.
I am guessing you meant screwdriver and not drill(?).
I use a 0.6 mm X 2.5 mm slot size screwdriver for these screw terminal blocks.
You could buy a scewdriver set with this size bit, but a larger more ergo dynamic handle that may be easier for you to grip - careful though as these terminal screws do not require much torque.
If you want to remove the whole terminal block, you will need to remove - 4 screws - the top cover of the Masso G3.
This too. Instead of the set you got, which sounds like one of those ‘jewelers’ or ‘precision’ screwdriver sets, get a set that has a regular handle and just changeable bits at the end. I have a few sets like this that will come with smaller size 1 or 2 slotted tips. If you only want it for this one use, you can get a set super cheap at a dollar store or good ole Harbor Freight.
Yep I meant the driver tip not a drill bit. I ordered these and I can put them either in a larger screwdriver base or my impact driver on the lowest setting. It’ll be the smallest 1/16” bit.
