Masso Stopped Working Mid-Job (solved)

I have sent an email to support but I thought I would also ask here.

Situation:

  • Masso via Elite Upgrade to Journeyman.
  • Flattened my wasteboard using gcode from Vcarve. Vacuum via coolant M8/M9 worked a treated.

Problem:

  • milling a job with a 1/4 in bit into Beech. Gcode from F360. Postprocessor didn’t kick off the vacuum (no M8/M9 - my bad). So I pressed the coolant button on the Masso to manually switch on the vacuum (so I thought). On pressing the button the masso died a very sudden death.

Symptom:
power unit doesn’t not power up, no green light

What I have tried:

  • fuse and plug OK
  • socket ok

Any thoughts?

I followed Onefinity Rapid Response via email. I had to replace the 10A Main fuse. Best have some to hand. And probably the other sizes as well
