Mounting at a 30 degree angle

Hi

First post.

I’ve ordered an Elite Forman.

My little workshop is, well, little.
So I have an idea. If I build a work bench on an incline of 30 degrees rising to the rear I gain two things.
1, the footprint is reduced not a lot but enough to make a real difference to me.
2, the work surface is easier to see and work on. Yes items will slide down but I don’t see that much of a problem because most of the time I’m using a stop bar at the front of the machine.

Question is will the motors take the load of pulling the gantry and a 2.2kw water cooled spindle up the 30 degree incline.
My thinking is the reduction in gearing from the motors to the gantry via the screws means the load is trivial.

Has anyone tried this?

They sell a wall mount for the onefinity machines so I do not think 30 degrees will be hard on your machine.

Our official stance: Elite machines are intended for professional use and not made to be wall mounted. Onefinity will not offer technical support for wall mounted Elite machines and it could void your warranty. DO NOT MOUNT ELITE Machines on the wall.
