Was running some projects today with both the laser and router. On one project the laser hit my hold down and instead of releasing the laser from the magnetic bracket, the bracket broke in half. I’ll re-order the bracket but I’d like to still work with it while I am waiting for a new one. The holes on the laser don’t seem to line up with the mounting bracket on the 1F. Anyone know of a way to mount the laser without the magnetic bracket? I am going to try to just CA glue the two pieces together. I may also consider making a new bracket based on looking at some of the posts here. I have access to a 3d printer but I’ve never made anything with it.
If anyone has a similar issue, some CA glue and activator did the trick. Hopefully it holds until I can build/get a new one.
