while I was setting up for a project I accidently hit the power button turning my machine off without proper shutdown. When I tried to restart I got no response. After trying to restart again and no response I opened the box up and tested power supply. It checked out . Next I checked the switch for continuity it works. I followed with the estop. Still nothing. Any advice on where to go next would be appreciated.
There is probably dust inside the switch preventing contact. Happens to mine all the time. There is a video on 1F’s website that shows how to open it up and clean it out.
I watched the video and dissected the switch. There was very little dust. After reassembly I turned on the power, but still nothing. I have power to the power supply. I show 35.9 volts on my multimeter with estop pushed in and 0 with it pulled out. From there I’m not sure what to do next.
