Well, Completed my MPG today and I will never go back to control with touch. A great tool for job set up, Also can trigger “Home” machine and “Park” Machine, still need to get labels made. Top button is “Home” and bottom is “Park”
SO GOOD!!
This is a 24voltage design by the way to directly support masso.
is that something you built yourself ? Is it available somewhere ? How does it compare to Masso’s MPG ? looks good:)
Plan is to make available/sell. This one has two programmable buttons and is a narrow design, not as wide as masso’s and Ship from USA. Also I do not like the goofy “remove the end connector shell” so we have a adapter pcb to make the connection to masso clean
Also, the buttons are usually below the wheel.
I ran a machine once where the wheel below like the
Masso. It is very easy to bump the wheel when setting the buttons.
So the wheel is only enabled when you also push on the bottom “enable” button. This is to make it hard to bump and change things.
So does that mean that when you press the button it switches to the F3 screen if you are not already there(I am always on the F2 screen when ever I grab and try to move anyway… LOL) or is it simply acting like a relay and it is interrupting the input signal on the way to the Masso.
Oh buddy, Mr Woodpecker, when might that be available?
I’m only a few days out from placing my order so I have plenty of time to add my accessories and was going to order the Masso from PWN sometime between now and March.
I like several of your ideas like the narrow profile and the extra function buttons. I too was really surprised and disappointed at how you have to take apart that connector to fit two 1st party products together, seems hacky.
So I would be in on a preorder or whatever. Keep us posted.
NO way to control the Fx screens This is the way most all MPG work The power from masso goes thru the enable button and you must push to power up the mpg. Simple but works very well.
We are making a few changes now Like moving the Enable button to the side and added three user buttons. Plan is a roll out in March.
