First I have already reached out to ReddogWoodcrafts however he is away for the weekend.
My question is has anyone setup toolpaths for this using Carvco? I am trying to make this and ran into a issue with the toolpaths. I don’t know if I use inside, outside or along for the inner and outer circles along with the dogholes. I attached a picture for reference.
Hello Jesse,
If you want to keep the diameter the same as what you have drawn, go with inside.
If you go along, you will end up with the cut being 1/2 the diameter of your bit bigger.
If you go with outside you will have the full diameter of your bit bigger than your hole.
Hope this helps,
Cheers,
Neil

I use the same setup, here’s a tip.
Everywhere you have one of the threaded inserts, on your benchtop (assuming your waterboard is on top of something else), drill a bigger hole all the way through. This allows you to blow dust through and out of the threaded inserts as they will fill up with chips and dust! I learned the hard way.
